What's going on around GreenHill Parish

GHP is over 20 years old and many things are in need of repair. Here are some of the things we have done in 2023 and will do in the near future:

Painted and cleaned all road signs within GHP

Replaced both toilets at the pool with new ones

Ordered new entrance signs for Spears Creek entrance and into Oldfield. Should be ready in Mid-January 2024. The existing signs are falling apart and one has mushrooms (yes, really) growing out of it.

At the Clubhouse:

Replaced the electric cooktop (bought on a black Friday sale).

Replaced the hot water heater

Acquired furniture and end tables for free

Working to refinish the floor

Things Richland County is doing for us (for free to GHP):

Installing wheelchair ramps around Central Park. GHP is on the approved list with estimated date of mid-2024.

Sidewalks will be installed on Greenhill Parish Parkway, on both sides of the road, from the traffic circle to Old National Highway. Summer of 2024.

A request was made through the Richland County Ombudsman to have Greenhill Parish Parkway striped with road markings. No definitive date.
