  • I need to speak to someone at MJS. What is their number?
MJS is 803-743-0600. Call them anytime about HOA dues, a violation notice, architectural applications, landscaping, or any other issues with the neighborhood.
  • How do I pay my Annual Assessment to the HOA?
The annual assessment has to be paid through MJS, Inc, our HOA's administrative partner. You can pay your assessment fees online by visiting MJS's website.
  • What are the By-Laws of the community, and where can I find them?
The bylaws can be found in the Forms and Documents section of the website. Alternatively, you can download them here.
  • Who should I contact if I see a burned out street light?
The street lights are maintained by Dominion Energy (formerly SCE&G). You can report a burned out light by calling their customer service hotline, at 1-800-251-7234. Please write down the pole number, which is found on a metal oval-shaped tag on the light pole, along with the address closest to the light pole, and be sure to list GreenHill Parish under the Company/Homeowners Association Name on the form. This information will allow Dominion Energy to quickly come to our neighborhood and fix the burned out light.
  • Who do I call for potholes, traffic signs and other road issues?
All roads in Green Hill Parish, with the exception of the Retreat (gated section), are Richland County Roads. For issues with the county roads, please call the Richland County Ombudsman at 803-929-6000. Contact the Board for issues within the Retreat, since those are private roads. GreenHill Parish Parkway and the traffic rotary in front of the clubhouse are county roads, and we have no control over signage or traffic issues there.
  • When is Trash and Recycling pickup?
Trash pickup is normally every Wednesday for household trash, while Yard Waste and Recycling is picked up every other Friday. For questions, call 803-576-2440. All residents are encouraged to download the Richland Solid Waste App for updates to collection days. For more information, please follow the link to Richland County's Solid Waste & Recycling Site.
  • What is the Noise Ordinance for Richland County?
It shall be unlawful for any person to play any radio, phonograph or musical instrument in such a manner or with such volume, particularly between 10:00 pm and 7:00 am., as to annoy or disturb the quiet, comfort or repose of persons in any dwelling, hotel or other type of residence, creating public nuisance.
  • What is the Non-Emergency Phone Number for The Richland County Sheriff's Department?
For Non-Emergencies, call the Richland County Sheirff's Department (RCSD) at 803-252-2911. For Emergencies call 911.
  • How do I reserve the Clubhouse?
To reserve the Clubhouse, call MJS, Inc., our HOA's Management Company, at 803-743-0600. There is a $350 refundable cleaning/damage deposit and a $100 non-refundable fee to reserve (total $450). MJS will ask you to sign an agreement and provide a key. Reserving the Clubhouse does not mean reserving the pool also.
  • Can I reserve the Pool for a Private Event?
No. The pool is never reserved for private events and is always open to residents during the pool season.
  • I need camera footage from one of the three security cameras. How do I get it?
GHP now has three cameras. They are at the pool, the keypad at the gate and the park just inside Oldfield. Each camera box has multiple cameras covering the main entrances, the pool area, clubhouse, and pool parking lot. These cameras are on constant record and hold images for 30 days and only view areas where there is no reasonable expectation of privacy. As always, if you see or suspect something criminal then call RCSD first. The non-emergency number is 803-252-2911 and emergencies are always 911. These cameras are for security issues and footage will be forwarded to the RCSD when appropriate. If something happens and you think the camera may help, contact any board member and they can pull the footage.
  • I am going away for a few days. Can someone watch my house?
If you are going away over the holidays or any other time, you can call the Richland County Sheriffs Dept and ask them to make rounds and check your house. Be sure to tell them if you are having someone come to your house for any reason. Call the RCSD non-emergency number 803-252-2911.
  • I want to add a storm door or a screened-in porch to my property. Do I have to talk to the HOA before doing this?
You need to talk to the HOA and receive approval before doing this. The HOA supports homeowners making improvements to their properties, however, every homeowner will need to submit an Architectural Review Application, and receive an Architectural Approval Letter in the mail before beginning any work on their property. The Architectural Review Process ensures that any improvements to the properties are done within the HOA's approved Architectural Guidelines, which allows for everyone's property value to be maintained.
  • Are Solar Panels allowed in the neighborhood?
Solar Panels are not allowed in the neighborhood whatsoever. Roof-mounted or ground-mounted solar panels do not meet the GreenHill Parish HOA Architectural Standards, and were never allowed in the neighborhood, even when the homes and lots were originally being built.
