Safety Tips for Halloween

If you are participating in distributing candy to the trick or treaters, please ensure your porch light is on. Poorly lit areas can increase the risk of accidents, especially with children running between homes.

Traveling in packs makes Halloween both fun and safe! Walk younger kids all the way to the door and remind older kids to stick with their group.

Avoid the tricks this Halloween by planning your trick-or-treat route in advance. Try to stay in a familiar neighborhood with well-lit streets.
